An extremely well-placed focal point, coupled with grate use of pattern to draw the viewer into the image. You could have used a SLIGHTLY wider lens to capture the image, as it would have shown a bit more of the pattern in the trees, and you would have gotten rid of the imbalance between the right and left sides of the frame (That odd portion of a tree on the left side is quite nagging).
The depth of field is grate, and there is a very pleasant softness that just looks natural, giving the entire scene an almost surreal look.
Really, the only thing I would have changed was to either crop out or expand into that tree on the left side of the image. Its a bit distracting, especially once you realize it's there, like a dead pixel on a screen. I think that it lowers the effectiveness of the image very slightly.
Other than that, anyone else would be hard-pressed to find anything wrong with this photo. Bravo!
